We are hiring for an exciting part time role, DEXA Technician, to own the administration of our in-house DEXA machine, and to help bring to life a key tier of our holistic human performance and longevity assessment for avid athletes. You will own the body composition and bone mineral density portions of our assessment, producing key metrics for our medical and performance team to evaluate. The right candidate will be comfortable engaging 1:1 with elite athletes and the general fitness population, and performing DEXA assessments in a competent and efficient manner. This role is local to San Francisco, requiring the appropriate licensure and credentials to administer DEXA scans in the state of California. This role reports directly to the Head of Assessments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Entry-level role, requiring one of the following:
- Completion of an accredited California Bone Densitometry course, with licensure to administer DEXA scans in the state of California
- Designation as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), with licensure to administer DEXA scans in the state of California
- Ability to maintain flexible hours, planned in advance to accommodate the needs of our athletes
- Strong interpersonal skills: personable, approachable, with an ability to excel at building positive relationships with athletes, team members, and stakeholders
- Highly organized, with the ability to follow established operating procedures with precision and attention to detail, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Nice to have:
- 1+ years administering DEXA scans
- Experience in a Customer Relationship role
