Our team will collaborate on strategic business and technology programs by partnering with the Workforce Planning line of business experts, and project teams on transformation efforts around staffing and skill adequacy and organizational design. Our team is responsible for project delivery by establishing project milestones and governance structures throughout the project lifecycle: initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.
The Work You Will Do at Bip.Monticello:
The Skills / Strategic Project Manager & Workforce Planning Specialist will support the design, development, and implementation of the client’s global approach to skills and strategic workforce planning. Additionally, the role will provide an opportunity to assist in developing the client’s approach to skills taxonomy development, skills assessment, and skills management. The consultant will work closely with client Workforce Planning team and other Bip.Monticello team members to ensure the project is set up and run according to best-practice standards. Key to this role will be the consultant’s problem-solving skills, communication, attention to detail, and analysis abilities, along with ensuring our deliverables meet the client’s expectations and are delivered 100% on time.
Required Skills, Experience, & Responsibilities:
- 5-7+ years project experience in Strategic Workforce Planning / Learning / Talent Development and/or projects in the Global Markets, Global Banking, Finance, or Treasury space.
- 5+ years of project experience in the financial services industry at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Sapient, etc.), global investment bank, or Fortune 500 company would be preferred.
- Prior Banking experience working on Workforce management & planning, business analysis, data analysis, project management, and/or projects across various departments including HR, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, etc.
- Understanding of workforce planning principles: Good understanding of key principles involved in strategic workforce planning.
- Deliver Workforce Planning Skills solutions: Contribute to the stand-up and evolution of the Skills/Strategic Workforce Planning function by delivering Workforce Planning Skills solutions.
- Lead skills framework projects: Lead projects around developing the Skills framework, generate new ideas and conceptual frameworks to help solve problems, provide hands-on delivery, and create insightful findings and recommendations. Projects cover skills taxonomies for key roles, governance process on skills taxonomies, developing a skills assessment framework and process, creating skill reporting and monitoring mechanisms to review skill progression.
- Draft procedural manuals: Draft and produce procedural manuals and guidelines related to Skills/Strategic Workforce Planning to enable consistent deployment of the process.
- Implement skills assessment framework: Partner with HR Advisors and Learning & Development on implementing the annual skills assessment framework and process to assess gaps and progress made in closing skill gaps.
- Interpret and support data: Interpret data and information with a view to support businesses in understanding their skills gaps/emerging skills requirements.
- Review skills assessment outcomes: Review skills assessment outcomes and partner with People Insight and other HR functions and business leaders to turn the outcome into appropriate talent strategies to fill skill needs.
- Demonstrated experience of presenting complex ideas, data, and analysis in a visually accessible way.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including experience with large audiences / senior leadership. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills demonstrating cross-cultural understanding and knowledge across multiple geographic locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Business, Computer Science or Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
**The base salary range for this role is $90,000-$105,000**
