Medical Receptionist
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Receptionist for one of its clients in Kansas.
This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of hiring with competitive pay and benefits.
Location – Olathe, Kansas (66061)
Length of assignment – 3 months (Possibility of Contract to hire)
Pay range - $16 - $18 per hour.
Shift – Monday - Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
Job Summary
The Medical Receptionist performs various clerical duties and front office operations in support of patient care activities.
Job Duties
- Greets visitors and answers telephones.
- May collect Copays, close the Cash Drawer, and prepare month-end deposits.
- Collects initial demographic and clinical patient information and accurately enters it into the medical record.
- Compiles and prepares charts.
- Assists with coordinating and executing patient scheduling including confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of medical receptionist experience Required.
- Able to read and understand an Explanation of benefits.
- Good customer service skills.
- Experience Preferred: Front office, Cerner, or Epic experience.
