Role Description:
This is a Full-time on-site role for a preschool or Infant teacher located in Livermore, CA at Free To Be Me Childcare. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating lesson plans, activities, and curriculum that is appropriate to the age and developmental level of the children in their care. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for supervising children, ensuring their safety, and promoting positive social and emotional growth.
Qualifications
- Completion of Early Childhood Education (ECE) units or degree in ECE or a related field
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of child development, age-appropriate teaching methods, and social-emotional learning
- Ability to create lesson plans and curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with children and parents
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Fingerprint and background clearance
- Ability to meet physical requirements for working with children, including standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive learning environment for all children
