Role: Workers' Compensation Team Lead (FULL TIME)
Salary Range: $95K - $110K/yr
Work Location: Hybrid in Syracuse, NY office OR Fully Remote BUT MUST RESIDE IN NY
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process complex or technically difficult workers' compensation claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim; manages claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution.
- Manage claim recoveries, including but not limited to: subrogation, Second Injury Fund excess recoveries and Social Security and Medicare offsets.
- Calculate and pay benefits due; approves and makes timely claim payments and adjustments; and settles clams within designated authority level.
- Manage the litigation process; ensure timely and cost effective claims resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or accredited university degree is preferred.
- Valid NY Adjusters' License is required.
- 3+ years of relevant WC experience.
- Strong negotiation skills, ability to work with Microsoft Office products.
