Summary:
The Field Support Tech role will provide technical support to engineers, operations personnel, and field personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and network or wireless systems.
They will report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to hardware or software engineering teams. May be required to assist in customer installation.
The position involves working with complex systems, utilizing problem solving skills, and maintaining organization in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.

Displays mechanical aptitude
Must have valid driver’s license
Experience working under demanding deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Extremely organized and on-task
Ability to work with multiple teams in a cross-functional environment
Clear and concise documentation standards
Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete tasks
A successful tech will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
Able to travel domestically as needed for field visits
Available to support occasional weekend coverage needs
Tasks
Perform requested component, software, and system testing
Troubleshooting components, constructing reports
Filing bug reports on issues in testing/troubleshooting
Build and repair complex mechanical systems
Maintain tools and work spaces/labs
Documenting and Maintaining procedures
This role is expected to be in the office 5 days per week
