Join the Cybersecurity team in a key role, shaping and leading security architectures across the Americas. As the Security Architecture Engineer, you will design and oversee secure systems, networks, and cloud environments, ensuring the highest standards of security across all systems. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, product, and operations teams to seamlessly integrate security into all aspects of technology.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Security Architecture Strategy: Design and implement security architectures, aligning with global strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Secure System & Cloud Design: Oversee secure system, network, and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring best practices are followed for secure deployments.
- Risk & Threat Management: Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, identifying security risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration & Integration: Work with engineering and product teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), providing guidance on secure coding and security requirements.
- Standards & Compliance: Establish security standards, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with frameworks like GDPR, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security architecture, cybersecurity, or a related area.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing secure architectures for complex systems and applications.
• Strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and standards, including Zero Trust, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and cloud security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically about security challenges.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud security architecture, particularly in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of financial technology (fintech) regulations and secure payment architectures.
