Role Overview:
As a Presales Engineer, you will play a critical role in understanding client needs, designing robust solutions, and providing expert guidance throughout the sales process. Your strong technical background in network security, infrastructure, endpoint security, or cloud security will be essential as you engage with clients and internal teams to create tailored solutions that address complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Act as a key technical advisor and advocate for clients, understanding their requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
- Solution Design: Develop and present technical solutions that address client needs, including expertise in Routing/WAN, Data Center Switching, and Wireless Architecture.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge in network security, infrastructure, endpoint security, and cloud security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support and drive the sales process, including preparing and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations.
- Business Acumen: Leverage strong business insights to align technical solutions with client goals and business objectives.
- Documentation: Create detailed proposals, technical documents, and solution architectures to support sales efforts and client understanding.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a presales engineering role or similar, with a strong background in network security, infrastructure, endpoint security, or cloud security.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Routing/WAN, Data Center Switching, and Wireless Architecture.
- Client-Facing: Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Business Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to understand client needs and align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Location: Must be based in Kentucky or Virginia.
