The CenterCap Group is looking to hire 1 – 2 Managing Directors to work with the firm’s senior bankers in originating, evaluating and executing corporate advisory, M&A, and private placement for our infra & real estate operating company and investment management clients.
The successful candidate will
- Originate and execute on new private placement, capital raising and M&A advisory engagements
- Lead on a variety of transactions simultaneously in all stages from initial client pitch to transaction closing
- Conduct client due diligence investigations in preparation for potential transaction(s) and assist in preparation of marketing materials, including reviewing and examining the strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions
- Effectively identify and communicate financial information and complex strategic issues to both CenterCap and client professionals in a succinct and timely fashion
- Ensure quality of client deliverables by demonstrating thought leadership as well as extraordinary attention to detail
- Guide and manage execution teams on day-to-day execution of deals
- Communicate effectively with clients and investor relationships on all relevant matters
- Provide leadership, professional development and mentoring for junior staff
All team members are expected to perform all tasks with high standards and ethics. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues will be expected. Further, successful team members are self-motivated, consistently reliable, work well under deadline pressure, have excellent problem solving skills/analytical ability, are detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Experienced team members are expected to mentor others in the group and serve as a role model to those more junior.
Job Requirements
Minimum seven (7) years of corporate investment banking experience.
- 5 years of management of staff within real estate (or infra) / finance industry
- Demonstrated experience with managing day to day aspects of client relationships and projects
- Previous success and proven track record in new business development and / or closing investment banking transactions
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, business communications or related field.
FINRA Series 7 or 79 and 63 licenses required. Authorized to work in the United States. Position is located in Tampa, FL.
