A recognized services organization in Washington is currently seeking a new Technical Program Manager to join their growing Data Center Infrastructure team. In this role, the Techincal Program Manager will be responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary networking projects with the opportunity to shape, define & deliver new methods of delivering technology solutions at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure changes and upgrades across data centers
- Interact with Engineers, technicians, project managers and senior management on a daily basis
- Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
- Work with the Engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
- Manage our cross-functional projects, working with all organizational levels and groups including network operations, network engineering, infrastructure engineering & internal project management teams, as well as external vendors
- Manage multiple competing cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously on a global scale
- Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Program Management
- Engineering or Data Computer/ Science background
- Experience managing Data Center Infrastructure & Network Programs
- Excellent Program Management skills
- Working knowledge of Networking and Data Center Technologies
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
