Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Partner to join their growing team in New York. The firm is a trailblazing, top 100 national law firm with clients that include Fortune 500 companies, innovative startups, and everything in between. Responsibilities:
- Serve as outside counsel to large publicly traded companies, providing strategic advice on complex corporate matters.
- Handle major acquisition, divestiture, and financing transactions for middle-market and emerging companies.
- Represent clients in a variety of corporate matters including M&A, joint ventures, corporate governance, and financing transactions.
- Lead a team of legal professionals in the delivery of bespoke legal services, combining boutique-style attention with the resources of a national firm.
- Advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters, helping them navigate the complex legal landscape.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
- Extensive experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A, finance, and corporate governance.
- Proven track record of leading complex corporate transactions and managing high-level client relationships.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the financial and operational aspects of corporate transactions.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing a book of business.
