Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Bergen County, NJ
Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team on a temp-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our office, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
- Manage the front desk and maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Support various departments with clerical tasks and special projects as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to transition from a temporary to a permanent position.
