💰 Salary: $120K-$165K + 12% bonus
This is an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Planning Engineer to join a market leading supplier of electrical systems and equipment that services utilities in the USA.
This individual will have strong distribution planning, distribution asset management or planning protection experience. Having a background in utilities and interconnection is a massive plus!
** This is a HYBRID position 3 days a week in FORT WORTH, TX
*Visa sponsorship + permanent residency supported
Responsibilities🔨:
- Maintaining and updating loads and interconnection queue for utilities
- Interface with a number of different groups at utilties, transmission planning and new construction management.
- Oversee substation assets maintenance programs to provide highest levels of reliability at lowest possible costs.
- Assessed system conditions to advise operations during extreme weather or contingency events.
- Suggest and manage projects to extend service to new customers, continuously improving infrastructure and system reliability
Requirements 📑:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years experience with distribution planning, distribution asset management or planning protection
- Strong experience maintaining & updating loads and interconnection queues for utilities
- Experience utilizing relevant software tools
Nice to haves:
- Project management experience
- PSS/E knowledge
