Job Summary
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating new leads and sales opportunities while working with our existing customers to grow our business. We are looking for someone that is eager to learn and willing to grow with our sales team. You will work directly with the sales, marketing, and laboratory staff to gain industry knowledge of biodegradation and ecotoxicological testing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Emphasis on acquiring new logos
- Provide superior customer service throughout the entire sales process
- Do cold outreach, develop and qualify leads, and close sales in a professional manner
- Prepare new sales proposals, concepts, and strategies along with internal reports
- Maintains up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of account executive or sales development representative experience (related industry and/or enterprise sales a plus)
- Top quartile commission earner at current or previous employer
- Flexibility to work with changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced research environment
- Preferred: Previous Founding Account Executive experience
- Preferred: Experience in a relevant field such as environmental science, chemistry, materials science, or business
Compensation
Base Comp: $45,000 + 10% commission on revenue generated
