UACL Logistics, LLC a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holding, Inc. is currently seeking a Vice President of Sales.
UACL Logistics, LLC provides Flatbed, Van, Over Dimensional, Oilfield, Reefer and Logistics Services throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. As one of the strongest truckload carriers in the nation UACL Logistics, LLC has the ability to provide transportation services for our customers, agents, and owner operators. Our stability and experience within the industry has been proven with our continued growth, year after year.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Successful history in agent recruiting, sales and business development
Experience leading a team of individual contributors
Experience with agents/agent based model
In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices
Strong business acumen
Acquisition and merger experience
Confident, decisive with strong negotiation, problem solving and closing skills
Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
A bachelor’s degree in business/logistics or equivalent is preferred but not required
Have the wherewithal, confidence, and social aptitude to carry out executive level responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Lead and oversee new agent recruiting and business development
Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with new and existing customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
Drive operational efficiencies to improve service, financial performance and revenue growth
Develop, lead and manage personnel
Review market analysis to determine customer needs, agent needs and volume potential
Guide standardization of analytics and KPIs across sales/agent recruiting departments to ensure consistency and accuracy
