MoodysNWC is seeking a proactive and experienced Product Owner specializing in managing release processes and optimizing release velocity through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality software releases. Your expertise in agile methodologies and release management will be crucial in driving the success of our product delivery pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Release Management: Own and manage the end-to-end release process, coordinating release schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of software updates.
- CI/CD Optimization: Implement and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline the release cycle and improve release velocity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, operations, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize features and resolve issues affecting release timelines.
- Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain the release roadmap, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of releases by defining and monitoring release metrics, conducting post-release reviews, and implementing improvements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies that could impact release timelines and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Documentation: Maintain release documentation, including release notes, version control, and deployment procedures.
- Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with stakeholders to gather insights and incorporate feedback into future releases.
- Agile Leadership: Act as a leader within the agile team, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+years as a Product Owner environment, with a focus on release management and CI/CD.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Leadership Ability: Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving common goals and objectives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from 120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to 160,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.
