Job Title: Reverse Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL (Relocation required for non-local candidates)
Salary: $100-165k DOE
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Reverse Engineer to join our team in supporting a key customer in Huntsville, AL. Open to mid-level professionals up to subject matter experts (SME), this position offers the opportunity to analyze and reverse engineer hardware and software systems, identifying vulnerabilities and strengths. You will work closely with the customer, providing detailed reports and participating in regular meetings to align on objectives and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reverse engineering and analyzing hardware/software systems to identify strengths and vulnerabilities.
- Reporting findings in clear, comprehensive written reports.
- Collaborating with the customer in regular meetings to communicate progress, challenges, and achievements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in reverse engineering embedded operating systems (OS) or real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Initiative and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with RADAR, RF communications, DSP theory, and electronic warfare.
- Experience with C, C++, Matlab, Simulink, Python, FPGA design, and similar technologies.
- Knowledge of ELINT/SIGINT.
Security Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen with active Secret clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
