Sales Manager | International Sales
Location: Suwanee, GA or Minneapolis, MN
We are in search of a dynamic, strategic, and customer-focused sales leader for PSi’s International Sales channel, eager to spearhead our efforts in the Toys, Games, and Entertainment categories across non-US markets.
As a Sales Manager, you will be instrumental to managing customer accounts, and delivering sales growth for the channel. You will be crucial in developing long-term relationships with retail and distribution partners to deliver an increased share of the marketplace for our brands. You will also be seeking out new partnerships to extend PSi’s reach into new markets and territories.
The Sales Manager role is responsible for fostering direct business relationships in our retail and distribution customers, and interfacing directly with our brand partners to find synergies between brand and customer business strategies and growth opportunities. As the International Sales channel grows, the Sales Manager will hire and performance manage a team capable of delivering high quality results and aid the leadership team in steering the channel’s overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the business of assigned accounts that meet or exceed company-set goals.
- Develop and manage business relationships with assigned customer teams.
- Develop and lead the sales strategy for the channel in order to drive newness and innovation in the marketplace while also supporting foundational items.
- Deeply understand channel strategies and priorities to provide best-in-class recommendations to both brands and customers.
- Partner with the internal Brand Management team to understand and execute upon brand strategies and priorities.
- Coordinate and execute face-to-face meetings between brands and customers at multiple touchpoints throughout the year, including trade shows and dedicated customer meetings.
- Lead and partner with Operations, Customer Service and Planning teams to ensure that customer purchase orders are filled on time and in-full
- Develop annual forecasts for assigned customers Monitor and analyze assigned customer business results that lead to the development of actionable insights to improve the business Lead cross-functional initiatives that support assigned customer programs (e.g., marketing programs, special packaging, retail programs, bundled offerings, etc.)
- Lead and execute the call for orders process bi-weekly to our customer partners
- Manage and support all distribution marketing efforts including, but not limited to, bi-weekly meetings with key distributors, newsletters, social media support, etc.,
- Planning and execution of PSI presence at distributor and industry shows.
- Manage retailer initiatives such as demo programs, pre-launch kits, communication initiative
- Ensure strong understanding of brand catalogs, new releases, growth priorities, and production plans
- Hire, lead, and performance manage a small team of account managers and market specialists as International Channel grows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a strong emphasis on business.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales within the Hobby and Independent marketplace
- Minimum of 3+ years of management and team leadership experience
- Eagerness to run a section of the business and lead a team of energetic individuals
- Demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to own multiple projects
- Familiarity with IRI and Circana data reporting
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
