Overview:
We are looking for a strategic-minded individual to collaborate closely with company management to shape and implement the growth strategy for the Automotive Antenna Solutions group. The objective is to expand market share and drive sales. This role is accountable for business development activities, managing the product portfolio, aligning technical roadmaps with industry trends, and enhancing profitability through continuous improvement initiatives with both clients and internal teams.
The Role:
Lead the execution of the Automotive Antenna Solutions strategy and vision within the region. Formulate well-informed perspectives on emerging technologies, market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, translating these insights into actionable strategies to drive customer satisfaction, product line expansion, and profitability. Collaborate with global business development and product management teams to implement long-term growth strategies, optimize engineering capabilities, and establish manufacturing plans for the Automotive Antenna Solutions product portfolio. Oversee the product lifecycle and manage portfolio development for the Automotive Antenna Solutions group, adhering to company processes. Foster close collaboration with company leadership, product managers, engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive team approach focused on delivering timely, customer-specific solutions with cost efficiency. Manage cross-functional teams during the customer quotation process, ensuring timely, accurate, and data-driven proposals. Actively challenge input where necessary to enhance accountability and performance. Drive business development in the region by maintaining daily communication with sales, engineering, and production teams. Lead initiatives to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs across multiple manufacturing facilities within the matrix organization. Advocate for the value of our solutions by tailoring presentations and demonstrations to customer-specific needs, both in person and through virtual engagements. Monitor industry and market trends that impact the primary revenue sources in the region. Keep track of competitors’ activities and market positioning within target accounts. Align Automotive Antenna Solutions group management with customer requirements to develop and communicate a product roadmap that meets client expectations and user needs. Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to guide management’s strategic decisions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering or business development within the automotive industry, specifically with Tier 1 suppliers.
- Extensive knowledge of the global automotive market and work with startups is an asset.
- Strong technical understanding of vehicle electrical systems, with a preference for experience in automotive antenna technologies.
- Proven ability to generate insights on technology, products, customers, competitors, and market trends and turn them into growth strategies.
- Experience leading product lifecycle and portfolio management, from concept to market launch, while driving process improvements and efficiency.
- Familiarity with working in globally diverse teams and multi-national environments is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed to manage both global and regional program deployments.
