The Fountain Group is currently seeking Aircraft Technicians for a prominent client of ours. There are multiple positions open in the following locations:
- Joint Base Charleston, SC
- Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA
Job Description:
- $41.71-$47.53/HR (depending on location).
- 12-month assignments (with possibility to extend based on performance and budget).
- Main responsibilities include:
- Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
- Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
- Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results)
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED is required.
- 3+ years of aircraft repair/maintenance experience is required.
- Must have strong structural and/or electrical(wiring) background.
- Experience with C-17 aircraft is preferred.
- Must be available for both 1st and 2nd shift
