A global client is looking for a Cross-Border Labor & Employment attorney to join their team. We seek an attorney to join us as an associate or counsel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for supporting multinational corporations of all sizes in their global labor and employment requirements, providing guidance on a comprehensive range of international employment issues specific to diverse workforces.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree. Candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the United States location where they are based, maintaining licensure throughout employment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in U.S. labor and employment law.
- In-house experience is advantageous.
- Essential cross-border and international experience. Preference given to candidates with Asia-Pacific and Middle East exposure.
- Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Comfortable analyzing complex legal issues and devising practical solutions considering potentially conflicting laws.
- Independent with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, frequently switching tasks and seeking guidance as needed.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, workflow management, and virtual communication technologies (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Slack, Smartsheet, Excel, Word, iManage) is required.
