PDS Defense is looking for a Sheet Metal Mechanic (contract) in Greenville, SC.
Schedule/Shift:
Must be able to work any shift
1st Shift Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm
2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00am
Weekend Shift- Thurs-Sun 6:00am-4:30pm
****Most likely be prepared to work off-shifts Second or weekends****
Job Description:
Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. Production line structures and assembly. Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components. Heavy Precision drilling, Countersinking, and reaming precision holes. Most be actively drilling precision holes on aircraft!
Job Requirements:
6-8 years Minimum Aviation production drilling/structures work make sure resume clearly identifies the experience and years.
Must be able to work any shift.
High School Diploma or GED
Required Skills:
Aircraft Production Structures Experience – 6+ years’ experience
Precision Drilling – 4-6 years’ experience
Desired Skills (not required):
Sheet Metal – 4-6 years’ experience
Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs – 2-4 years’ experience
Blueprint Reading – 4-6 years’ experience
