Blackrock Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead a crucial nine-month construction project in Canton, Ohio. The project erection works are scheduled to start in March 2025, and the Supervisor will need to work diligently.
This pivotal role entails overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and industrial projects. It involves supervising a team of mechanical and piping technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Supervisor must also ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
•Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the electrical teams.
•Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, blueprints, and regulatory standards.
•Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
•Monitor project timelines and work schedules to ensure timely completion.
•In this position, you will be accountable for Overhead and Underground Electrical projects, safety, quality, and productivity.
•Maintaining a positive relationship with the client is the primary point of contact ensuring that our company is fulfilling its obligations.
•Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in installation and maintenance work.
•Ensure that all team members are aware of and follow safety procedures.
•Ensure the activities are planned for smooth execution, including assisting with soliciting construction bids and evaluation.
•Address any client concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
•A high school diploma or equivalent and an associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field experience is preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and piping installation and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
•Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
•Knowledge of related tools, processes controls and area technology systems.
•Experience in navigating 3D models with AutoCAD.
•Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
