The Opportunity For You:
Your expertise will enable us to build security products that address new and exciting challenges. We are looking for an engineer who can design and implement security applications, frameworks, and automation to accelerate vulnerability discovery, detection, management, and remediation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable software solutions for vulnerability management and detection.
- Design and implement security applications, frameworks, and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality security products.
- Continuously improve and automate processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Integrate, analyze, and present relevant metrics for large data sets.
- Ensure the security and integrity of customer data.
Key Success Factors:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in developing large-scale enterprise software.
- Programming Skills: Strong programming skills with the ability to create efficient algorithms and data structures.
- Languages: Expertise in Python (required), and proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, C, Rust, Scala.
- Scripting: Python and Go and Shell scripting.
- Query Languages: Proficiency in SQL (required), with knowledge of NoSQL and SparkSQL being a plus.
- Systems Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, including filesystems and system calls.
- Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems and repositories such as Git, and familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Networking: Basic working knowledge of socket programming (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, etc.).
- Cloud and Containers: Experience with cloud and container-based deployments using AWS, Kubernetes, etc., is a plus.
- Security: Experience in security and vulnerabilities is a plus.
- Automation: Driven to automate and continuously improve processes.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about keeping customer data safe.
- Project Management: Ability to track and manage numerous parallel activities.
- Problem Solving: Track record of practical problem-solving, excellent communication, and documentation skills.
- Agility: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment.
- Ethics: High standard of ethics.
