Position Data Testing Analyst
Location : Remote
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Job Description
· Candidates must have strong SQL knowledge and excellent data warehousing concepts like dimensional modelling and knowledge about data quality, data profiling.
· Interact with application owners to understand data centric testing requirements and communicate it to offshore team members.
· Ability to work on an onsite-offshore model is must.
· Domain knowledge about consumer finance is preferable.
· Develop, maintain, and execute data test cases to validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across different layers of the data warehouse.
· Test ETL processes to ensure that data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded from source to target systems while adhering to business rules
· Perform source-to-target data validation to ensure data integrity and identify any discrepancies or data quality issues.
· Develop automated data validation scripts using SQL, Python, or testing frameworks to streamline and scale testing efforts.
· Conduct testing in cloud-based data platforms (preferably Snowflake on AWS ., ensuring performance and scalability.
· Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (preferably SSIS , Fivetran).
· Experience with scripting languages like Python to automate data testing.
· Familiarity with data visualization tools like preferably in Power BI
