Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join the team at one of Ohio’s leading defense firms in their Cleveland, OH office! The ideal candidate will have at least four years of insurance defense experience.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dynamic and busy law practice! The role is full-time and hybrid, with 3/4 days onsite in Cleveland, OH office, and 1/2 days remote!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drafting/reviewing/responding to discovery documents
- Ability to conduct and defend depositions, including ability to prepare and witnesses to be deposed and ability to conduct depositions of and opposing parties.
- Court appearances
- Motion practice
- Manage cases independently from intake to resolution, including trials in a variety of insurance areas such as auto accidents, general personal injury, premises liability and construction litigation.
- Communicate with clients, claimants, insurers, and other involved parties
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to Ohio bar
- 4+ years of Insurance Defense/Civil litigation experience is required
