What you will do:
- Perform QA/QC on critical rotating equipment rebuilds, both in the field and in service shops
- Develop QA/QC programs, forms, and quality plans for highly critical assets for input to the CMMS system. Responsible for compiling as-found and as-left reports
- Monitor spare part availability for all critical assets, including shared or common spare parts within Nutrien and applicable pooled parts with other Corporations. Also required to participate and develop spare part optimization plans for all rotating equipment assets
- Participate in Asset Criticality analysis programs to ensure accurate asset criticality is being applied to equipment for prioritization of reliability activities
- Participate in PM/PdM optimization programs to ensure correct proactive maintenance activities are being applied to rotating equipment
- Inspect critical spare parts upon arrival to warehouse to ensure accuracy of part design and quality
- Responsible for submitting routine asset vulnerability reports for site personnel
- Develop and monitor condition monitoring, predictive and preventative maintenance processes for mechanical equipment, including vibration and lube oil analysis. Troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics and testing
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis for rotating equipment failure
- Perform vendor shop inspections and follow repair on critical equipment
- Support equipment reliability training for Operations, Maintenance and Engineering personnel
- Coordinate rebuilds/overhauls of major rotating equipment
- Manage the oil analysis inspection program
What you will bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree or some college in industrial technology field is preferred
- 7+ years of rotating equipment experience
- Must be familiar with API 610, 611/612, 614, 617, and 671 (pumps, general and special purpose couplings, lube oil, axial compressors)
- Familiar with rotating equipment alignment methods and techniques
- Level 2 Vibration Analysis certification preferred
- 3+ years experience using vibration analytical software with a specific focus on turbomachinery
- 3+ years minimum experience using Emerson AMS Suite Software is preferred
- Willingness to participate on corporate teams and assist other locations (some travel required; about 5%)
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work at heights up to 250’ above ground level, safety life up to 50lbs, walk, crawl, bend, stoop, work in confined spaces
