LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a client in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana seeking a Payroll Specialist. This role will oversee bi-weekly payroll processing and other HR related functions.
Responsibilities:
· Process and review biweekly, multi-state payroll for multiple locations
· Process payroll garnishments and payroll withholdings
· Enter associate data into the HR system for employment-related changes and conduct system audits
· Generate payroll reports and maintain accuracy of data
· Establish relationships with multiple departments and locations
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll and taxes
· Associates or Bachelor's degree - OR - relevant payroll work history
· MS Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables
· Understanding of HRIS systems and payroll + payroll tax laws
· Experience with Paycom, ADP or Paylocity
