The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will complete speech therapy evaluations for all patients, as prescribed. The SLP will complete a written report of findings of testing and will submit this report to the appropriate clinic designee. The SLP will also develop individualized speech pathology treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions, as indicated. The SLP will assist with completion of other documentation related to speech therapy evaluations and therapy, as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
2. A current Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
3. Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA) or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
4. Prefer at least one year’s experience working with infants/toddlers and/or preschool children with developmental disabilities and/or special needs.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
1. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
2. Must be physically able to walk, stand, and stoop for several hours each day.
3. Must be willing and able to sit on the floor and get up without assistance.
