What You’ll Do:
- Lead our Commercial Team to achieve sales and gross profit goals specifically within the grocery store sector by analyzing trends and implementing strategic marketing initiatives.
- Identify new markets and product opportunities, focusing on grocery accounts and large retail chains.
- Develop and execute national sales programs, creating field sales action plans tailored to grocery retailers.
- Stay ahead of market trends, adjusting sales strategies based on supply and demand, competitive pricing, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement marketing plans and new product development aimed at expanding our grocery sales footprint.
- Oversee key operational functions including customer service, order management, and logistics to ensure smooth processes.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Food Sciences (MBA is a plus), with 7-10 years of proven sales experience in the grocery industry (restaurant experience is not applicable).
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing national grocery accounts and expanding into new markets.
- P&L management experience with a broad range of business responsibilities including inventory, forecasting, and accounts receivable.
- Exceptional problem-solving, time management, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 20% travel may be required.
