Research Analyst (AI Histology)
W2 Contract 3+ months

$35-37/hr
The Research Analyst will work onsite in our Vista location, under the general supervision of a member of our Clinical AI Applications team and play a crucial role in data collection. We would consider someone who is still in school, working on their maters. For a master’s student, we would work around their school schedule and accept them working less than 40 hours.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Identify and annotate glass slides (review images on a screen and identify artifacts (histology and digital)
- Follow SOP including annotation protocols.
- Documentation, including collating data.
- Participate the process of troubleshooting and root cause analysis discussion.
Requirements
- Either pursuing or completed college degree in biology, biomedical, chemistry, or related field.
- Previous internship or work experience as a lab tech or in the field of medical, engineering, biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
- Usage of annotation tools i.e., Label Studio, AWS Sagemaker, etc.
- Able to work independently while following priorities.
- Detail oriented and good documentation skills.
- Brightfield Microscopy, Pathology, Histology, or Cytology knowledge preferred.
- Digital Pathology knowledge a plus.
