Job Title: Wellness Director
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives for residents
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of wellness services, including fitness classes, health screenings, and educational workshops
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure resident needs are met
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure compliance with Medicare regulations
- Provide guidance and support to staff members involved in wellness activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in senior wellness
Qualifications:
- R.N.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of resident rights and Medicare regulations
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
