Role: Individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of data scientists and driving data-driven decision-making within the organization
- Key Responsibilities:This role will involve developing, implementing, and managing advanced analytics and machine learning models to extract insights and create predictive solutions.
- Individual will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior data scientists, providing technical leadership, and contributing to the overall data science strategy of the company
- Work with internal stakeholders to collaborate on delivering solutions
- Interact with client for understanding requirements and discussing solutions
- Set clear goals, assign tasks, and ensure the team's performance meets or exceeds expectations.
- Identify new data sources and technologies that can improve data analysis and modeling capabilities.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations
Job Requirement:Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
- Total years of required experience in Software industry to be: 10+ years Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL
- Experience of requirement understanding & solution designing
- Knowledge of Deep Learning models for solving business problems in the area of Natural Language Processing.
- Proficiency in Generative AI techniques prompt engineering, Vector DB, LLMs such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Open-source LLMs, Vector DBs is important
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data science projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role is typically required.
- Familiarity with using hosted services on cloud is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer) can be an advantage.
