In this role, you’ll offer strategic insights on both forward-looking contract and pricing decisions, while also overseeing the management of existing obligations, including the multi-billion-dollar Gross-to-Net P&L item. You will support the US Gross to Net Team in all aspects of finance business partnering and provide financial guidance to business units (BUs).
Schedule is hybrid 2 days/week in office
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Contribute to Market/BU Strategy by assisting in the development of the overall strategy for BU contracting, and driving new contracting initiatives.
- Conduct Brand Portfolio and Strategic Portfolio Analysis. Collaborate with Market Access, Account teams, and BU Finance Partners on contract proposals and pricing strategies.
- Aid in contract pricing decisions by evaluating and understanding their commercial impact.
- Ensure that contract pricing decisions and market conditions are aligned with forecasts.
- Work closely with US BU Finance Partners and other central BU finance partners, assist in preparing management presentations, and navigate the complexities of a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
Basic Qualifications: We seek professionals with the following essential skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a focus on Management, Finance, Strategy, or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in financial partnering, including analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning, and decision-making.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders based on expertise and credibility.
- Experience in a business advisory setting, with the ability to analyze complex data and present insights and financial information in a clear, compelling manner to non-finance audiences.
- Demonstrated skills in analyzing and comparing complex data from various sources.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate the legal, financial, and ethical aspects of industry-regulated principles.
- Experience in matrix organizations and managing complex change projects.
- Knowledge of the US Pharmaceutical Industry, including access and reimbursement, brand launches, established brand management, loss of exclusivity management, and experience supporting vaccines or pharmaceutical products.
- 6+ years of financial partnering experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry would be a plus
- Professional finance qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA).
