Looking for Mid level Data Engineers with 8+ years ETL Experience for financial client in Dallas, TX
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite Day 1)
Duration: 1 year and may get extended
Must-Have:
- Experience designing and developing data integration solutions using ETL tools (Ex: Datastage 11.x)
- Minimum 1 year Data Build Tool (DBT) experience is a must
- Strong yaml, SQL & knowledge in Data warehouse concepts
- Intermediate to advanced python coding with Unix/shell scripting
- Exposure or experience in Control-M, CI/CD Gitlab, Docker, etc
- Proficiency in SQL and database table design – able to query from structured and unstructured datasets
- Experience in a role performing data warehouse and analytics solution design and development using a variety of techniques
- Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data using cloud-based and on-premises technologies
- Understanding of data architecture design, data modeling, and physical database design and tuning
Preferred:
- Experience in the implementation of cloud data warehouses using Snowflake
- Exposure in cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
