Seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney for one of my law firm clients. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients in all phases of workers' compensation litigation, from initial consultation to appeal. This is a fully remote role in California.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in workers' compensation cases and manage caseload from beginning to end.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials related to workers' compensation claims.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with legal advice, updates on their case status, and guidance through the workers' compensation process.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Stay current with developments in workers' compensation law and participate in continued legal education.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in California State, with a good standing in the state bar.
- Experience in workers' compensation law.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high caseload and a variety of workers' compensation cases.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
