_Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) _
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
*Delegation of Authority*
As a *Certified Nursing Assistant* you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
*Job Functions*
*Resident Care*
· Assist the residents with all aspects of their daily activities and personal care.
· Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
· Record care in the resident’s electronic medical record in a timely fashion.
· Take direction from the licensed nurse.
*Staff Development*
· Attend and participate in 12 hours annual training and educational classes to maintain current certification as a Nursing Assistant.
· Attend mandatory in-services
*Resident Rights*
· Maintain the *confidentiality *of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
*Working Conditions*
· Works throughout the nursing service area Moves intermittently during working hours.
· Is subject to frequent interruptions.
· Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and holidays, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.
*Education/Certification*
· Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state
*Specific Requirements*
· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
· Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
*Physical Requirements*
· Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
· Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examination.
· Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
· Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds

Pay: $18.18 - $20.68 per hour
