We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the well-being of patients in various medical settings.
*Responsibilities*
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform IV infusions and gastric lavage procedures
- Conduct physical examinations and medical imaging tasks
- Assist in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Provide compassionate patient care with a focus on long-term care and dementia care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment plans
- Utilize nursing skills to respond effectively in emergency room (ER) situations
- Assist patients with mobility, including lifting when necessary
*Requirements*
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proficient in IV infusion techniques and gastric lavage procedures
- Experience in physical examinations, medical imaging, and patient care
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices
- Ability to provide quality care for patients requiring long-term care and dementia care
- Capability to respond effectively in emergency room (ER) settings
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Travel nursing
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
