As a Market Channel Sales & Business development Representative, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing distributor partnerships, managing relationships, and driving sales growth within your assigned market channels. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identify Distributor Partners: Proactively identify and evaluate potential distributor partners through prospecting, LinkedIn outreach, and onsite visits, to expand the company's distribution network.
- Establish and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners by understanding their needs and providing the necessary support and resources to help them succeed & grow there business.
- Identify and Solve End-User Customer Issues: Collaborate with the Distributor sales team & end-user customers to identify their challenges and provide product solutions that effectively address their needs.
- Coordinate Targeting of Similar End-User Issues: Work closely with distributor partners to identify other end-user customers experiencing similar issues, and coordinate targeted sales efforts to address these opportunities.
- Generate Sales Opportunities: Actively generate new sales opportunities by understanding market trends, end-user demands, and customer needs, and leveraging existing relationships with distributor partners, to target & generate opportunities.
- Support Distributor Sales Reps: Collaborate with and support distributor sales representatives to close sales opportunities, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information to successfully sell products, including onsite support, demos, and training where needed.
- Manage Ongoing Distributor Relationships: Continuously manage and nurture relationships with distributor partners, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and alignment with company objectives, identifying area’s and executing on delivering a World Class Customer experience.
- Collaborate on Growth Strategies: Work with key stakeholders, including category managers, and regional, district, and national sales managers, to develop and execute growth strategies that drive market penetration and increase sales revenue.
- Sales Activity Logging: Ensure all sales activities are accurately logged within Salesforce, maintaining up-to-date records of interactions, opportunities, and progress within the CRM system.
