POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs clinical laboratory testing which involves the application of sophisticated analytical knowledge in a wide range of the Clinical Laboratory functions, including Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Immunohematology, Coagulation and Cytology; performs the tasks of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to help the physician in diagnosis and treatment of the patient. Additionally, will function as the Blood Bank Supervisor and responsible for the hematology section in the laboratory.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science. Current California licensure. Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting. Qualification as General Supervisor per CLIA 88 in order to take call and work weekends/holidays without direct supervision. Basic Computer Skills.
