Oracle EBS Financial Architect
Tampa, FL (Onsite 3days/week)
Job Description:
- Own Oracle Financials solution and delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, identify pain points, and translate them into robust, scalable, and efficient solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud technologies.
- Design end-to-end financial system architectures based on Oracle Financials applications such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Provide expert guidance on Oracle Financials best practices, and conduct global design workshops, presentations, for stakeholders to demonstrate Oracle Financials capabilities and gather requirements.
- Lead implementation projects of Oracle Cloud Financials in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, defining support procedures for Oracle ERP products.
- Creating as-is and to-be business process flows using Oracle best practices.
- Working with clients to develop appropriate solutions to business problems, ensuring they meet the clients’ objectives and deliver optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure delivery of a holistic solution in terms of accounting and impact to financial applications within project timelines and budget constraints.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, example – Requirements, FIT/GAP Analysis, KDD, Process Flows, Data Conversion (Conversion Scope and Strategy), Data Integration (Functional Design Specifications).
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect, or similar senior consulting role specializing in Oracle Financials solutions architecture.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on implementation experience with Oracle Financials applications and functionalities (GL, AR, AP, FA, CE) with at least 5 end to end implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of financial business processes, accounting principles, and industry standards.
- Experience leading and guiding clients with full lifecycle Oracle implementation projects, including requirements gathering, leading fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Expertise with development of Chart of Accounts, Enterprise Structure, and Trading Community Architecture.
- Collaborating with HCM, SCM, and PPM leads in areas integrating with financial applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology.
- Oracle Cloud Financials knowledge a plus.
