Overview
Looking for a BD/Sales Director for an FDA registered company that's specializing in rapid diagnostics products for drugs of abuse testing. Ideal candidates should have strong connections in the medical and forensic communities and a sales track record in this field.
Responsibilities
• Leading and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
• Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships teams.
• Developing and implementing a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness.
• Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
• Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness.
• Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities. Track competitors’ activities.
• Participate in the periodical marketing and sales planning of the company’s objectives.
Qualifications
• Past experience in working on government RFP/RFQ Team
• Very clear and systematic thinking that demonstrates strong judgment and problem-solving competencies. Highly organized and structured, and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
• People management and organizational skills. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close and articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
• Proven ability to position products against competitors.
• Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Bachelor degree with a business major or above or relevant field with long working experience in sales management.
