Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance - Acquisitions
Our client is a NYC based "mid sized" Private Equity Firm, primarily focused on owning world class, well known luxury, retail and fashion brands on a global scale.
Our client is seeking a SVP of Corporate Finance, Acquisitions to provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring the company's financial health, supporting its growth objectives, and enhancing shareholder value in their Midtown Manhattan office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives. Provide expert financial guidance to the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.
- Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
- Partner with Corporate Development in the due diligence, valuation, and integration processes for M&A transactions. Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to assess opportunities, structure deals, and drive successful transactions.
- Build, lead and mentor the corporate finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Develop talent and build a strong team to support financial operations.
- Oversee capital structure and optimize funding sources to support growth initiatives and operational needs.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, rating agencies, and lenders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and financial modeling skills.
- Proven track record in financial planning, risk management, capital management and M&A.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience in brand licensing or related industries is highly desirable.
