Our client is looking for a Junior Epic Beaker CP or CP/AP Analyst to join their dynamic team in this hybrid role based in California. Their experienced team is seeking a candidate with 2-3 years of relevant experience who is eager to be trained in our specialized methodologies.
Position Overview:
This role offers a blend of onsite and remote work, requiring onsite presence approximately once a week or as needed for urgent issues and analyzer support.
Team Dynamics:
- Current Team Size: 5 members (with one departing and another retiring soon)
- Projects Include: Interface projects, bi-annual upgrades, and specific projects involving hematology analyzers, DNA analyzers, chemistry analyzers, and slide printers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement system solutions to optimize the Epic Beaker spectrum.
- Ensure seamless transition of projects and requests to production.
- Oversee application and system installation and implementation.
- Define system scope and design objectives through thorough analysis and research.
- Configure vendor-maintained systems or develop and modify in-house systems.
- Coordinate with users, ISD staff, and vendors.
- Conduct research and analysis, prepare project deliverables, and create detailed specifications for vendor systems programming/configuration.
- Analyze processes and workflows.
Essential Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience as an Epic Beaker CP Analyst or CP/AP.
- Familiarity with interface analyzers (hematology, chemistry, DNA), DI (Data Innovations – instrument manager), instrument validation, Labcorp/Quest integration, and Wellsky (blood bank solutions) is preferred.
- Background in lab technology or lab operations is a plus.
Logistics:
- Local candidates preferred, with the flexibility to be onsite as needed, approximately once a week.
- Must be available to work during Pacific Time business hours (8 am - 5 pm PT).
