We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our professional team at Sigma Rehab. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong background in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), and a passion for improving the lives of our patients.
*Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Requirements Include:*
· A graduate of an accredited PTA Program
· Current PTA License in the State of practice
· Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.
*Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Duties Include:*
* Measuring & recording resident’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
* Observe Residents and write progress reports.
* Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises.
* Treat Residents with varieties of techniques, like stretching and massage.
* Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices.
* Educate Residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle and improve mobility.
* Maintains Resident confidence by keeping information confidential.
* Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
* Contributes to the team effort.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,700.00 per year
