We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead data migration and analytics initiatives, manage a diverse team, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. This fully remote position involves managing complex projects in a hybrid Agile environment, with quarterly travel to Milwaukee or Green Bay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Oversee the migration from Oracle to Snowflake and the transition from Cognos to Power BI.
- Manage and prioritize tasks across three Jira boards using Kanban methodology.
- Collaborate with a project manager on the Data Transformation project.
- Coordinate with offshore teams in Croatia for monthly report generation.
- Team Management:
- Manage a team of five, including administrators, developers, and reporting specialists.
- Act as Scrum Master, guiding team operations in a hybrid Agile environment.
- Foster collaboration and ensure smooth execution of team goals.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with business units to understand and meet stakeholder needs.
- Provide regular progress updates to executives and manage expectations.
- Operational & Technical Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day Business-As-Usual (BAU) tasks such as password resets and routine updates.
- Manage communications for regulatory and audit purposes.
- Drive continuous improvement of the Data Analytics Platform.
- Troubleshoot SQL and performance issues, especially with Power BI Paginated Reports.
- AWS knowledge is a plus for cloud-based project work.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience managing projects with Jira or similar tools.
- Strong SQL skills, particularly for troubleshooting and optimizing performance in Power BI.
- Knowledge of Snowflake for capacity and load management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in remote environments.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, especially for Power BI integration.
- Experience managing BAU operations, including regulatory communications and audit compliance.
- Strong technical acumen in cloud-to-on-premise systems and connection management.
Work Environment:
- Remote: Fully remote with quarterly travel to Milwaukee or Green Bay.
- Agile: Work primarily guided by Kanban boards.
- Location: Open to candidates in multiple U.S. states.
