What You’ll Do as our Senior SQL Database Administrator:
- Design, automate, and maintain high-performing databases.
- Optimize performance, fine-tune indexing, and monitor systems using tools like Spotlight.
- Ensure database backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery plans are robust and reliable.
- Collaborate on strategic architecture initiatives, including cloud and hybrid solutions.
- Be involved in every stage of the application lifecycle, from design through deployment.
- Support a database warehouse team and manage a portfolio of 300+ databases.
Ideal Candidate Profile for the Senior SQL Database Administrator:
- 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale databases.
- Expert in SQL Server (versions 2017-2022) and Visual Studio 2022.
- Strong background in performance tuning, replication, and database architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET software development, C#, ASP (IIS), and ETL/SSIS.
- Ability to manage database environments across development, QA, and production.
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance (SOC-1, PCI, FTI).
