Hospice Residence CNA (overnight)- This position is eligible for a $2000 sign-on bonus.
Recently named by The Boston Globe as one of theTop Places to Work in Massachusetts, our community based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks experienced, talented, and compassionate hospice aides to join our team when we open our new hospice residence in the Fall 2022. This is an exciting opportunity for hospice aides interested in providing end-of-life care at a new 10-bed hospice facility.We are seeking for someone to:
- Have an easy commute to our Residence in Wayland.
- Fill 12-hour night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am every other weekend.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide bedside care to terminally ill patients residing at the hospice house following the established plan of care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude toward all patients and their families and a commitment toward exceeding the needs of our customers.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
Current Massachusetts certification in good standing
A minimum of two years prior experience in community health, long term care facility, oncology, or a related field preferred.
Ability to be a team player and work harmoniously with patients, families, co-workers, and management.
