QUALITY MANAGER - TRAVERSE CITY, MI

Are you an experienced Quality Manager seeking a new challenge? Look no further! We are in search of a dynamic individual to join our team and take charge of our quality management operations.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and improve internal quality execution practices, optimize commodity best practices, and develop the operational quality team.
- Establish quality standards and guidelines for our products and processes.
- Oversee the development and administration of human resources programs within the Quality group, including performance management, training, and policy application.
- Manage the approved operating budget effectively.
- Provide planning, leadership, and consultation for the implementation of key customer quality systems.
- Support Regional Leaders with quality deliverables throughout the product life cycle.
- Improve the performance of the Quality Operating System's key indicators to meet customer satisfaction requirements.
- Lead the integration of Process Flows, FMEA's, Control Plans, and FTP from initial to production versions.
- Oversee Global Quality Reporting and support/review plant QOS Monthly reporting.
- Represent the “voice of the customer” in product quality and quality system matters with customers and suppliers.
- Direct Quality personnel in fulfilling their responsibilities.
- Oversee all plant Quality activities and laboratory testing functions.
- Support advanced quality plans to ensure effective product launches.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and security of the Quality Department’s physical facilities.
- Initiate, implement, and maintain systems in compliance with customer and IATF:16949 standards.
- Carry out assigned functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manuals.
- Undertake special projects as assigned.
- Make recommendations, plans, and suggestions for continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Follow systems for IATF:16949 and ISO14001REQUIREMENTS
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years management or supervisory experience in a Quality position.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
