About The Opportunity:
A Fortune 500 company consistently ranked among the top homebuilders in the US, is searching for a Director of Sales to join our team in Greenville, SC. As the Director of Sales, you will oversee division sales staffing, training, and administration. You will establish and communicate sales objectives and goals for the division and its communities while achieving successful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with New Home Consultants daily, weekly, and monthly regarding sales production goals, product knowledge, and corporate updates.
- Monitor and report sales numbers monthly, quarterly, and yearly, making recommendations to the Division President.
- Set up and lead sales meetings and phone banks as needed.
- Enforce company policies and resolve issues within the team. Handle customer problems with New Home Consultants.
- Visit communities weekly and assist with Realtor Programs as needed.
- Organize and supervise special events to promote communities and company branding.
- Mentor New Home Consultants, providing leadership, goal setting, and performance coaching. Conduct formal evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to adjust strategies in response to market changes.
- Review market analysis to determine customer needs, pricing, and other key factors.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and field teams to ensure strong communication and commitment to quality products. Assist in solving sales and closing issues between departments.
- Conduct or contribute to performance appraisals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Management:
The Director of Sales will manage 12-14 direct reports including 2 Area Sales Managers (ASM) and 10-12 New Home Consultants

- Manage direct reports - prior people management experience
- Able to adapt to change - be a strong support and motivator to the team when changes arise
Ideal Candidate Profile: Strong Sales Leader with experience working for a large homebuilder at the Director of VP level.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, on call on weekends
Compensation Structure:
Base Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 per year
Yearly Bonus: 70%
Additional Incentives:
All relocation expenses will be covered
Auto Allowance: $7,200 per year
